Welcome
At Carter Memorial SDA Church, our mission is simple: to help people find and follow Jesus. No matter who you are or where you come from, you are welcome here. We believe in creating a community built on grace, compassion, and the love of Christ, where everyone has a place to belong. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or have been walking with Jesus for years, we invite you to join us in growing together.
At Carter Memorial SDA Church, you’ll find opportunities to worship, learn, and serve alongside others who are on the journey of faith with you. More than just a church, we strive to be a family where you are seen, valued, and loved.
Our beliefs are firmly grounded in Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Through the inspiration of Holy Scripture, God reveals His character, His redemptive purposes, and His gracious plan for all humanity. From the dawn of Creation to the promise of the Second Coming, the Bible testifies to God’s continual and compassionate pursuit of His children.
We affirm the authority and unity of the entire Bible, embracing the principle that Scripture interprets itself. Our distinctive understandings—such as the prophetic message, the sanctuary truth, and the biblical teaching concerning the state of the dead—offer clarity and hope in a world often marked by uncertainty and confusion.
Above all, we uphold the central truth of divine grace, God’s unmerited gift that redeems, restores, and prepares hearts for eternal fellowship with Him. Thus, our doctrines are not merely theological positions but invitations to encounter and experience the transforming love of God.
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” — Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)
We look forward to seeing you on Saturdays for Sabbath School (our church at study) 10:00 a.m. and our Worship Service at 11 a.m. Welcome home!
